What is a Lifeline Alarm?
Lifeline alarms are trusted to provide peace of mind to people living alone, with long-term health conditions, or who want extra reassurance around the home. If you need help, activate the Lifeline alarm by pressing the button on the base unit or pendant. This sends an alert to our Response Team. They will answer your alarm call and speak to you through the Lifeline alarm base unit loudspeaker. Help is then arranged by informing your emergency contacts that you have activated your alarm. If necessary, the Response Team can also alert the emergency services.
Who is a Lifeline Alarm for?
Lifeline Alarm for the Elderly
Lifeline alarms help people remain safe and independent in their own homes. Many LifeConnect24 customers are elderly people who are worried about their mobility, have a long-term health condition, or who live alone. One in three over-65s experiences a fall every year*, but a Lifeline alarm makes it easier to call for help in an emergency.
A Lifeline alarm also provides peace of mind to our elderly customers’ family or friends. They know that our Response Team are always available to support their loved ones when help is required.
Lifeline Alarm for Independence and Peace of Mind
The Lifeline alarm is designed to benefit anyone who needs it. We aim to make our service as inclusive as possible, making it available to those who need some extra reassurance at home. This makes Lifeline alarms ideal for people who may be recovering from an operation or are worried about emergencies at home. For added peace of mind, we make sure our devices are simple and easy to use, providing the benefits of our service to anyone in need.
Lifeline Alarm Pendant
Your Lifeline alarm comes in two parts: the base unit and the alarm pendant. Your pendant can be worn around the neck or on the wrist for ease of access in an emergency. When you need help after a fall, or if you feel ill, simply press the button on the Lifeline alarm pendant to send an alert to our Response Team. If you have a fall detector pendant, it can also raise an automatic alert if it senses you have fallen. For extra peace of mind, the Lifeline alarm pendant is waterproof and lightweight, supporting your independence even in the bath or shower, where slippery surfaces may lead to accidents..
With the LifeConnect24 Lifetime Warranty, you will be kept connected to our service. Your alarm pendant comes with up to seven years of battery life without needing to be charged. When the battery runs low, an automatic signal is sent to our Response Team, who will arrange for a replacement pendant to be sent to you.
If you are worried about misplacing your pendant, or to cover two people in one household under the same alarm plan, you can purchase an additional pendant.
VAT Exemption on Personal Alarms
